Who We Are

This web page has been created as part of a research project at the University of the Sunshine Coast. The internal research grant was awarded to identify ways to enable people who are patients in a mental health facility to avoid seclusion and restraint. 

Our research team consists of a dynamic blend of academics with professional and research experience in the mental health area and several experts in lived experience who have contributed as research assistants. We have also had the privilege of working with two colleagues who work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the mental health area.
